[00:00:01-00:03:15] Assalamu alaikum. You are watching Hustle Talk Live and today’s

[00:03:15-00:03:34] So, Talk Live is a special episode of ours because, according to your request, we have brought back Furqan Aziz bhai. So, if you are on my channel for the first time and you are watching this for the first time, then my name is Saad Munir and I run a community online podcast named Sync with Saad and

[00:03:34-00:03:46] Physical podcasts and online hustle talk live too, and from wherever we understand that value should be delivered to you people, we try to deliver it. Many guests come with me who are industry experts, leaders.

[00:03:46-00:03:57] He and I together have such conversations that create a framework, an actionable item for you people to ease out your hustle, your grind, so that your tech business, agency business can be soothed out.

[00:03:57-00:04:14] So, our last few activities were such that we did a podcast with Furqan bhai, after which people asked a lot of questions, so I and Furqan bhai came and did a hustle talk live in which Furqan bhai dropped so many value bombs inside, coming around LinkedIn and around his team operations.

[00:04:14-00:04:28] So, more questions were highlighted in people’s minds. Then Furqan bhai and I thought that we should create a Q&A session in an organized way. And within that Q&A session, we then did this: we had all the pre-defined questions.

[00:04:28-00:04:43] We have taken them, and after taking them, we will now ask them the questions to Furqan bhai today. The questions etc. that have come from you people were very many, the rest I will tell you the details later. Furqan bhai, Assalam Walekum.

[00:04:43-00:05:04] Furqan bhai, your voice is probably muted. Please check. You tell me. Wa alaikum assalam, okay. Yes, excellent, excellent, Masha Allah. Furqan bhai, thank you very much for your time. The public is also watching you, and the public was also waiting for you to come, so you gave time again. Thank you very much again for this.

[00:05:04-00:05:14] In the shop, we have some questions that have come in, that we submitted, you also added a story, I also added. In that, the most questions are about sales, around 35%.

[00:05:14-00:05:24] And about 30% of the questions are from lead generation. 15% are related to growth and selling. And then we have personal branding and.

[00:05:24-00:05:38] Team operations are about 7%. Then marketing agency and related to that. So I will start with you asking sales questions. So the most important question that people asked today because you have to answer.

[00:05:38-00:05:49] Okay, in between, I might give a morsel. The thing is, the public wants to hear from you. They want to get your formulas and your code cracks.

[00:05:49-00:06:08] So I start with sales. People asked that we give a lot of pitches, and we also tried hyper-personalized outreach on LinkedIn and email, and we broke down the whole thing, we also diagnosed our pitch that we do in social outreach, on LinkedIn, in email.

[00:06:08-00:06:20] We are still not getting a silent response from him, so what is the reason for that? Okay, we all know that the email channel is very much.

[00:06:20-00:06:39] It is underperforming right now in the market, and the most critical element is its spam rate, which is very high. So, in our last episode as well, we discussed this very point about email, that preferably, if you keep email at the third or fourth position in the channels, it’s better. Otherwise, you will keep seeing this frustration that we are doing it daily.

[00:06:39-00:06:56] If you have a Salesforce license, there are 5000 emails, if you have taken 10, there are 50000 emails, and some people are sending up to a lakh emails, but in the end of the day, you are not getting the results that you want, and the major reasons for that are that the spam filters of our Outlook, Gmail, have become so rigid, so.

[00:06:56-00:07:17] They have become so brutal that they don’t let you land in the inbox. Because of which this challenge comes that the email response rate becomes very low. Yes. But on LinkedIn, because we talked last time and we said LinkedIn is relatively performing channel right now and I have rated it at number one on the basis of my experience. So

[00:07:17-00:07:28] I would like to reiterate one thing, that if you look at my LinkedIn profile, and I send you a connection request, I send you a message, then you will come to my profile first.

[00:07:28-00:07:47] Dude, exactly who is this guy? Who sent me the connection request? You won’t blindly accept a connection request. You will accept a connection request when you feel after seeing my profile that if I get added to your network, you will get some value. And that value can be from my designation, looking at my past experiences you.

[00:07:47-00:08:02] can be inspired. If I have put up any volunteer work below that says that these are my causes that I am supporting or not, but if for example I write like this on carbon emissions that I am working on sustainability or I pet.

[00:08:02-00:08:23] I am working on wellness or I am working on stray cats, I am not doing it but I have put it on my LinkedIn because we had already put a lot of things on it that we are not doing. I put it, so somewhere you felt that connection and you accepted my connection request or it may be that my activity, my posts, my featured kind of posts that I have pinned.

[00:08:23-00:08:37] After looking at them, you’ll feel like, yeah, this guy, if I add him to the network, then I can with him. Okay, now this is step one. To get the connection request accepted, you have to show your profile so healthy, in which I last

[00:08:37-00:08:52] In this episode, I didn’t talk about volunteer work and social causes, and I have attracted many people to my profile just by adding volunteer work and social causes. And we all know that in the US and Europe, many people are on stray cats, on pets.

[00:08:52-00:09:06] It’s just that you’ve raised cats, and I’ve also raised cats, and I just felt this connection that, man, we’re working on the same thing, so I connected with you. It might sound like a very trivial thing to us Pakistanis, but it’s a reality. Okay.

[00:09:06-00:09:23] For connection request acceptance, you have to make your profile so impressive that the other person feels value add, value. Number two, whenever we message someone after accepting a connection request, then the next problem is that if we

[00:09:23-00:09:43] We messaged, I messaged you, you won’t respond to me. There are three or four problems in that. For example, I messaged you, “Hello Saad bhai, how are you?” and I sat quietly. Now you won’t reply to me, you are a busy person, you are a CEO, we have had this discussion many times that sometimes we need conversation. So in the last episode,

[00:09:43-00:10:00] I had a conversation that it’s a bit of a controversial point, but when we are going into a relationship at a university age, when we start a conversation, our reply to every message from the person in front of us is something that is in.

[00:10:00-00:10:16] It’s provoking, it’s provoking. He is driving the conversation. In our reply, there is something that makes the other person sit quietly, thinking, ‘Okay, I got the answer,’ and now he is quiet. For example, you say to me, ‘Assalam Walekum Salam.’ You say, ‘How are you?’ I say, ‘Okay.’ Now I.

[00:10:16-00:10:31] Understood that in response to ‘okay’, I asked you, ‘How are you?’ so that you can also reply. But if you are not able to drive the conversation, that means probably you will not get a response. You should know how to drive the conversation.

[00:10:31-00:10:40] Remove greetings etc., hello, hi, how are you, hope you are doing good, remove all these things, your conversations, your messages very short and.

[00:10:40-00:10:52] Keep it to the point and avoid sales pitch in the first three or four messages. You also said in a podcast that if you do a sales pitch in the first conversation, in the first message itself. Okay.

[00:10:52-00:11:15] Here, in some situations, we also do direct sales pitches. I did a direct sales pitch, but in that case, I have my own profile, being a CEO. I have 50,000 followers, and my limit of approximately 30,000 connections on LinkedIn has been reached. And at this time, about 5,000 of my LinkedIn posts have been sent, different articles have been sent, I have posted different things, and my impression.

[00:11:15-00:11:30] I have gotten a maximum of 4 lakh impressions per post. Now, if I pitch directly to someone, then probably there are chances that I will get a response for the thing I am going to sell. For example, I have a product of HR, for example, so I.

[00:11:30-00:11:46] I connected with the HRM managers, hiring managers, and the Chief People Officer, and I went and made a direct pitch, so probably this pitch will work. Okay, last but not least, within these three things, number one we talked about the profile, number two we talked about our messaging and templates, and

[00:11:46-00:12:03] The last but most important component is that if I am getting connection, my requests are being accepted, but I am not able to bring meetings and I am not able to drive conversations forward, then high chances are there that my ICP is not correct. My prospecting is not right. If

[00:12:03-00:12:21] I got people to accept the connections. They started accepting the connections. I also came into the inbox, but they are not coming to the meeting, or I am not able to get a reply from them. So that means that maybe that person was not for my prospect or my service, or is not there, probably. So this.

[00:12:21-00:12:33] Many people miss this thing. So if your, okay, I will tell you a simple formula to diagnose this. If connection requests are not being accepted, that means your profile is not looking that lucrative.

[00:12:33-00:12:44] Number one, it’s okay. It’s not looking attractive. Number two, if you’re not getting a reply to your conversation, then your messaging templates or what you’re talking about isn’t hooking the other person.

[00:12:44-00:12:59] She is not able to connect with him. I am talking psychologically. Number three, the conversation has started, you have sent two, four, five messages, but the person is not ready to come to the meeting, or he is coming to the meeting but he is not buying, then you have an ICP problem. So, you can do these three stages.

[00:12:59-00:13:18] In this, can we put something like that thing or some message or hook for them? Even if it is our ICP, everything is correct, what can we do to them because they are busy in their routine. So one way is to follow up again and again, sometimes it also becomes annoying, but what is such a thing because in social media especially in LinkedIn, in which they can give such a hook.

[00:13:18-00:13:30] Like we used to give lead magnets in a time, so what can we give here to a VP level person or something like that? You want to get that out, I think, what I am saying. You are very sharp, Saad bhai.

[00:13:30-00:13:49] So practically, it’s like, for example, if I tap a VP of Engineering who is claiming that he’s working in a healthcare organization and he’s doing something with AI, okay? So now his product is sometimes available, like, what exactly is he trying to build? He has on his product’s page.

[00:13:49-00:14:08] that in one of your posts, this thing is mentioned, or he is sharing related research. So now what will you do here? You will go to Chat GPT and give the name of its product and write that, man, give me its five competitors, along with them, give me the resemblance that this product of this and those that you are shortlisting and bringing.

[00:14:08-00:14:12] To the competitors, their list, where is the resemblance between them, plus.

[00:14:12-00:14:33] The competitors you have to give me should be the least popular. They shouldn’t be that popular. I mean, if you say that I created Facebook or Gemini is my production, then of course, you are directly shooting yourself in the foot. So you can either do this, or if you are targeting the US market, then tell ChatGPT to give me healthcare in Singapore.

[00:14:33-00:14:51] Give its competitor. There will be 99% chances that in the Singapore and Dubai market, that person won’t know that this thing exists. We don’t know which products exist in India. Okay, so given that situation, you should launch a relevant product in another market and go and pitch it, saying, ‘Hey,

[00:14:51-00:15:10] Since you are working in this space and I have worked on this product which is resembling a lot, so how about we hop on to a virtual coffee and I would like to exchange some ideas or some thoughts that I have learned from this product. Now if I tell you, Saad bhai, you are building an HRMS but I have also worked on an HRMS.

[00:15:10-00:15:30] And in that, I think there are many such things that I have learned, I want to discuss with you. Yes. So you will say, yes, okay, come on. Why not, why not, right? I’m just giving an idea. Now the next question that comes to people’s minds is, okay, if it really came, what will I tell it? So they say, what medicine is Chat GPT for? Go to Claude, tell it, tell it, man, I don’t want its.

[00:15:30-00:15:43] Tell me about some AI kind of gimmicks that would further enhance this part, or whether those features exist within this part or not. This has happened many times. I said, for example, CMH Lahore.

[00:15:43-00:15:55] The one that has EMR, EHR installed, that is made by me. Now who has to go and see what its name is, etcetera, etcetera. I’m just giving an example. So that the CMH people know they have reached my office, I have, I have talked about it as an example.

[00:15:55-00:16:13] That it’s attached to mine, okay? Okay, they’ll say, okay, what functions were in it? I know that inside the EMR, there’s a medical record management system, right? An electronic medical record management system. Patient data must be entered into it. It must be going from one department to the second, third, fourth departments. All the departments will be connected to each other. Then the person will get an SMS that yes, you.

[00:16:13-00:16:23] So, this is your treatment, your next appointment is at this time, you have made the payment, so this is it. Insurance documents must be coming out from within it, it must be becoming easier to claim insurance.

[00:16:23-00:16:46] So, these kinds of things will happen. And if there is more complexity, Chat GPT and Claude can help me. Like, usually these things happen inside EMR EHR. And when I extracted the feature functionalities modules of EMR, I didn’t even know in my mind that it also has cold storage to keep dead bodies. So now I tell everyone that my EMR also has a function to manage cold storage.

[00:16:46-00:16:55] No, it’s not. Actually, it’s not, but if someone says give it, then we will make it and give it. This shows that you have expertise in it, and you know the inside and outside of it.

[00:16:55-00:17:44] Exactly. Because cold storage, keeping dead bodies inside a hospital is technically such a, that is, a very rare thing. That’s right. So because if, for example, 100 patients go, then out of those, two-three dead bodies would be there, and most of them are taken home. Very few people, you know, so accidental cases are kept. This shows how much attention to detail I personally have in that specific space. So you have to build a story that shows that you are right inside, that you said, the inside-outside thing, you are inside and outside in that situation, in that product, in that industry, whether it is a specific industry. For example, if I am in accounts, for example, remotely I am giving finance and accounts services, giving taxation services to US companies, then I can tell that, brother, inside taxation, for example, when.

[00:17:44-00:18:06] When Corona ended, after Corona ended, the US government started tax refunds in the name of Corona rebate. They collected taxes and later they had to refund them. And till today I get emails from my Invozone LLC that brother, get that filed from us and you will get a rebate of 100000 dollars or 130000 dollars. Whether you get it or not is a different matter, but at least I started getting emails. So.

[00:18:06-00:18:09] Someone pitched the same thing to me on LinkedIn, but.

[00:18:09-00:18:29] Relatively with more beauty. He said, man, I have taken out your tax file from the IRS, I don’t know if I have taken it out or not, but from that I get to know that you have filed for so many numbers, so much data. Now those numbers were wrong. I said these numbers are wrong. He said I know the numbers are wrong, but I would still like to see what your actual numbers are and I can do it for you. What happened? The conversation started at least.

[00:18:29-00:18:44] Okay? So, well, I made a post to put on social media, and what happened was that I said something where I intentionally put the numbers in it wrong. And the numbers were simple mathematics. For example,

[00:18:44-00:18:55] I said, to make 1 million dollars, if you make 1 dollar every second and you have to make 1 million dollars, then it will take you 7 years. So many people have commented on that.

[00:18:55-00:19:11] What happened, it went viral now. You can’t imagine, in one day, 53000 views came, and in my reel, totally only 5-7000 views come. Totally only 5-7000 people watch. It’s boring, right? I mean, we are entertainment-based, obviously, yes, dance is not included in ours.

[00:19:11-00:19:25] Exactly. So that’s not our music, it’s not entertainment, so 5000-7000 people watched it in one day, and they came and told me that, man, your math is wrong. So, I mean, what happened was that psychologically.

[00:19:25-00:19:42] I was able to trigger their kind of thought process, and with that, you have to extract some insider detail that you need to pitch to them. And if they come and say, “Okay, come, tell me what you’re doing,” then you’ll have to do your homework and go. And that homework.

[00:19:42-00:20:00] Furqan bhai, we also saw an Indian, he used to talk about this in our lead gen ads. So I did an experiment with him. When we show ads to local businesses for our agencies, what we did was, we deliberately wrote wrong terms in it, that your installation is this much.

[00:20:00-00:20:15] It will be in this and the insurance will be in this, or a spelling mistake was made. Right, right, right. Below that, all those roofers, it doesn’t happen like that, I am a roofer for 10 years and you know, the US people get triggered. Now we have a warm audience, we are showing them the targeting. Showing, showing.

[00:20:15-00:20:38] So this, its biggest advantage in ads is that your ad spend becomes very less, your CPC becomes very low, your cost per click becomes so less because the more engagement it gets, Meta will push it that much. That’s how it is, and it’s relevant to the relevant audience. Yes, to the relevant audience. So this is a very beautiful thing. It’s amazing. Furkan bhai, the next question is from a person, I mean, I am telling you club questions.

[00:20:38-00:20:49] They said for teams running dozens of LinkedIn accounts across multiple people. Firstly, after your last hustle talk live, it has taken time for LinkedIn to also figure out why so many accounts have started being created from Pakistan.

[00:20:49-00:20:59] So they are asking what’s the safe compliant setup and what metrics prove the team is performing. Now, within this, I also received many direct questions in the community.

[00:20:59-00:21:28] that we also got some routes done with you, I did, that everyone was just like, man, it’s getting blocked or how to manage the KPI. Because look, that LinkedIn, even in that, some people even went so far as to pick up real people’s active LinkedIn accounts that were warm up, that were running, and partnered with them and told them that, man, we will run this, as an SDR, we will manage yours. And they also had some challenges, so in that, they are asking what its sustainability, its safe side, compliance.

[00:21:28-00:21:42] And how will you judge the team to see if they are performing well or not? Both are very beautiful questions. I recently gave some people a crack, which I had mentioned slightly last time, I will explain it in detail in this meeting.

[00:21:42-00:21:56] One thing is that you should tell your family and friends to give away their LinkedIn profiles for free. To the family members, to the in-laws, to the in-laws’ relatives, meaning like if my wife’s sisters are there, then to the sisters.

[00:21:56-00:22:15] Further, for the husbands, and then for the brothers and sisters of those husbands, you can, you know, tap your network. Expand it as much as you can. Another thing I did was I started paying 20, and $30 per month in rental to a lot of people. Now I told an employee, man, he was from the village, okay?

[00:22:15-00:22:33] He was from the village, he had 7 siblings, 8 siblings. His mom and dad were also there, uncle, maternal uncle, aunt, paternal uncle, there were quite a few people. So I told him I would give you $10 per account, however many accounts you bring me because you have to get accounts made and identity verification done through your sister, brother, dad, mom, and however many people you need to get accounts made and identity verification done.

[00:22:33-00:22:44] You don’t have to give them anything, of course. They wouldn’t even know what you’re going to do with them because everyone is talking about farming and that. So you have so much of a problem, but if, for example, you bring 10 accounts.

[00:22:44-00:22:55] So, $100 will start increasing as your extra. Probably he was a data extractor, he was sitting at a salary of ₹50-60 thousand. For him, the additional income of ₹25-30 thousand is from his salary. Exactly, he told me about his.

[00:22:55-00:23:07] 30-40 people’s thumbprints, identity cards, all brought and placed on my table. Here, I have taken off their thumbprints and brought them. So, the point of talking is that you can tap someone like this who is someone.

[00:23:07-00:23:22] You know, he is from a rural background, and you are taking advantage of that because you are not doing any number-two stuff. You also know that you are not something that you have, you are buying reach and you are buying a distribution network. People have bought some network and they have something.

[00:23:22-00:23:28] I’m sorry, I’m interrupting you. Some people particularly asked me about this point, that it’s unethical, illegal.

[00:23:28-00:23:43] And you cannot use it. I regularly went and read the compliance of your and our LinkedIn after that to answer this and address this question, and after that I saw that then I have a white lawyer who is our onboarded paralegal team.

[00:23:43-00:24:00] I also asked him that if we do it, what does he say? He says if the person is real and the real account is used, that account is, nowhere on LinkedIn is it written that only he will use that account, then it will work or it will be on his device. 100% right. A use case happened with me, sorry I’ll interrupt you. Yes, yes. My own LinkedIn profile.

[00:24:00-00:24:18] Three years ago, I was sitting in Malaysia at that time, so he blocked my LinkedIn profile, LinkedIn. And the reason for blocking the LinkedIn profile was that I traveled from Pakistan to Malaysia and I was using my profile there in Malaysia, and my social media team sitting in Pakistan, they posted to the same profile from a Pakistani IP. Now they.

[00:24:18-00:24:40] I saw an IP conflict where requests were coming from two IPs at the same time, and they suspended my profile on their server. Okay, now because I had taken that paid Sales Navigator, and I had about 15-20 licenses annually, and I was giving them a decent revenue of about $15,000-20,000. So, I emailed my point of contact, and he scheduled meetings with me.

[00:24:40-00:24:52] After he selected the meeting, he got my profile unsuspended and also told me that only one person can use one profile at a time. He didn’t say that only you can use it, he said that only one person can use one profile at a time. Then I told him from then on.

[00:24:52-00:25:10] In the reply, in the legal reply, I replied to him in the email. I replied that I am a CEO, I cannot manage my profile myself, so I have kept my social media team. Now your reconnecting has started.

[00:25:10-00:25:23] No, no, it’s perfectly fine. Yes, it’s perfect. Okay. So I replied to him, I said, man, I’m a CEO, a busy person, I can’t manage my LinkedIn profile myself. I have a social media team that I’ve hired for this work, and I’m not alone. I.

[00:25:23-00:25:35] Many people have personal assistants, many people have social media teams that are using or accessing their LinkedIn profiles and social media profiles on their behalf and managing them.

[00:25:35-00:25:51] Pakistan, for example, if you look at eBay e-commerce businesses, then you can apply the same rule there as well, then you will completely eliminate the concept of a virtual assistant. So in any way, in reply to me, he.

[00:25:51-00:26:05] He didn’t challenge my point. He said okay, I mean if you want to do it this way, but he did the ‘neither deny nor accept’ scene. Exactly, he recommended that you use the same IP address from now on. I mean, he didn’t say that you.

[00:26:05-00:26:27] Unethical, okay, again, there is consent when we are taking LinkedIn profiles from someone, so we are taking it from them with consent, otherwise they will not give identity verification, etc. And one more thing, after a lot of this kind of situation developing, after people’s at least talks, we created a consent form. We said, man, when we take a LinkedIn profile from you, we will take this consent form from you.

[00:26:27-00:26:39] We will get it filled and get the thumbprints so that we are not stealing your identity because an identity theft case can also be made if you are using anyone’s identity without permission. So, we have to get that form filled, that from that, you know.

[00:26:39-00:26:54] Get the sign-in thumbprints done so that there won’t be any kind of identity theft case tomorrow, or someone will get angry, man. Okay, now you’ve fired me. Look at that, okay, watch that first podcast, how rich those zone people are. Now I’ll file my claim against this.

[00:26:54-00:27:04] Although nothing happens, but again, still, that he filed a claim. So you will also be saved from identity theft because you have legally documented that thing and done that. Okay.

[00:27:04-00:27:22] So you can tap the network, you can see where you can get that network from among your employees, among your acquaintances. So you, 10, 20, 30, then we have put those rates on the profiles, that on which profile, what level of audience is there, we are then paying that level of rate. If someone, any person, I have 3-4 thousand.

[00:27:22-00:27:48] He brings a profile with connections, which is an average profile, so we are paying him 20 dollars. And when that profile reaches around 8-10, or even above that, then it goes to $30 as well. People usually aren’t giving profiles above that. So, number one is, we’ve talked about how to gather profiles. Now, if you take relatively built profiles, it will become easier. There aren’t as many compliance issues on top of that. The profile gets unblocked, even if the profile is blocked.

[00:27:48-00:27:52] If I highlighted this last time as well, I will highlight again that

[00:27:52-00:28:23] Try to ensure that one profile logs in from one place. Profiles get suspended when you log in from multiple machines, log in on different IP addresses, and frequently log in and log out. Then you come under these kinds of things. Then 2FA should be enabled. If two-factor authentication is enabled, then security doesn’t get bypassed. And plus, if you have verified your email, and you put your last job from your own company, and you do that, then your verification will be done with your email.

[00:28:23-00:28:43] So, to verify that, it’s very interesting. I don’t know if you can put it inside your, what do you call it, podcast, put it on a link somewhere. Yes, we put it below. Okay, go to where your profile is logged in, type in the browser linkedin.com/sales.

[00:28:43-00:29:00] SALES/SSI. Okay. SSI, now I’m going to tell you something new, this, this is going to create a stir in the market, what is this thing that has come. You also type sales/SSI and you have to tell me what your score is coming. LinkedIn.com/sales/SSI.

[00:29:00-00:29:25] Yes. You’ll have to log in for this profile, right? Yes, it’s necessary to log in for this. Whichever profile logs in, it will show the score of that profile. Let’s see now, one second. One minute.

[00:29:25-00:29:41] It was in studio mode, please give me a minute. I’ll try to share the screen as well.

[00:29:41-00:29:58] My screenshot is also not allowed, otherwise I would have done it. I’m trying to allow it from here by going into accessibility. Are you getting it? Can you do a screenshot? I’m looking for the same because I haven’t given it, I hadn’t given access, I’m starting to give access there.

[00:30:04-00:30:14] Please tell me if you can see my screen. One second, let me check now.

[00:30:14-00:30:34] Yes, your screen is visible. Okay, if you look in the browser, it’s linkedin.com/sales/ssi, okay? What is this, sir? This is the Social Selling Index of your LinkedIn profile, the LinkedIn profile that is logged in here, okay? My icon is appearing here, so that means my profile is logged in, okay? So.

[00:30:34-00:30:49] This tells you where your LinkedIn profile is standing in LinkedIn’s eyes right now. Okay. Now, I am in the top 1% in my industry. My industry SSI rank is top 1%. And what is my network SSI rank, this is my.

[00:30:49-00:31:08] That’s also coming out to be 1% of mine. And this is my 78 out of, meaning what is my current social selling index coming out to be? 78 out of 100. Okay. If your score falls below 50 or is below 50 on your profile, then your profile in the eyes of LinkedIn is very much.

[00:31:08-00:31:19] Say that the profile is degraded and it will be flagged very easily, very quickly if you do this. Here, LinkedIn is saying that, brother, LinkedIn itself is saying that your.

[00:31:19-00:31:31] The profile that we have given a score to, on what basis have we given it? There are four components. One is, establish your professional brand. You see this, so establish your professional brand means, can you from your profile.

[00:31:31-00:31:48] Are you posting relevant posts or not, in the industry you want to work in, the industry specific that they have selected after looking at your profile, whether you have that score or not. Find the right people, have you gone into the search of your LinkedIn profile and searched for the right people or not, meaning the filters etc. that you have applied.

[00:31:48-00:32:07] With the passage of time, whatever you search for, it will keep an eye on it. Then, similarly, engage with insights means that you have commented on the posts of people in the relevant industry, whether you have liked them or not. Like when we watch someone’s video and quietly move on, it has a negative impact. Especially, it is very sad when you.

[00:32:07-00:32:27] Make a reel with hard work, try to deliver some information, and it only got 500 likes and one heart. Yes. So why does a person feel like, man, I tried so hard to deliver this thing to them with so much effort, and they didn’t even put in the effort. So from here, you will engage, my engagement score is low, and the primary reason for that.

[00:32:27-00:32:38] Well, of course, it’s the same thing that we don’t engage that much on LinkedIn, and my relationship build score is 25 because my connections are already close to 30000.

[00:32:38-00:32:59] It’s done, it will be 29000 something and it has reached. Okay, now if I work on this, work on this, work on this, then my score will get even better. This score of yours should not fall below 50%. If it falls below 50%, then you should understand that the chances of your profile being locked will increase, the chances of being suspended will increase a lot. And at the same time, it is saying selling index.

[00:32:59-00:33:08] Meaning that LinkedIn itself is saying, brother, you can sell using my platform, but before selling, your selling index.

[00:33:08-00:33:20] It should be healthy. If you have only come to sell, then that means I won’t let you do that. Otherwise, you can do this work, you can sell using my platform. So,

[00:33:20-00:33:47] You cannot start selling from profiles whose selling index is poor or low. First, you need to improve these four parameters that we have seen. Take it to a minimum of 60. When your profile’s SSI score goes to a minimum of 60, when the selling social selling index goes, then you can go above that and start selling. Before that, you cannot do anything on it. It’s 53. Oh, oh, oh, oh.

[00:33:47-00:34:15] Saad bhai, take this to 60 somehow, and see in it which scores you. Okay, let me tell you one more interesting thing. Now here, I don’t know if this thing is worth telling so publicly or not, but let’s say I’ll tell you. Where you have done so much good to everyone, you do that much good. Tell me again my screenshot.

[00:34:15-00:34:33] Your screen is loading. Is it asking for any access? Okay, okay.

[00:34:33-00:34:50] It seems that your Riverpod had crashed. Yes, no problem. But the recording on my side. Yes, that gets done. Does it get uploaded? Yes. Yes, yes, no, it will get uploaded.

[00:34:50-00:35:02] Okay. Well, this reconnecting is happening repeatedly, I don’t know if it’s my internet or your internet. I think it’s on your side. On my side. Okay, no problem. Okay, tell me again when the share will be done. Okay.

[00:35:02-00:35:15] Okay, now here I did one thing, I did my social selling index. You must have heard of Chrome’s cloud extension. Yes. I did this Chrome’s cloud extension.

[00:35:15-00:35:31] I ran it from here and I told it, “Hey, review my profile SSI for example on my LinkedIn and help me improving my score for example.” Or I can say anything to it and what will it do on my behalf?

[00:35:31-00:35:50] On my behalf, or instead of help me, I say take required actions. Actions for improving my score, okay? What will this do now? It will start working on this. I have opened another LinkedIn profile on this site, and I will go to it and say, man, my social selling, my SSI, my SSI.

[00:35:50-00:36:01] is poor. Please find five relevant posts that matches my niche.

[00:36:01-00:36:19] And engage with them. Besides this, I did one more thing, he has written it, selected it below, ask before acting, I said act without asking. Now I have put it to work, from here the other one, this one is put to work, the one over here, which is telling me to approve the plan because I have here.

[00:36:19-00:36:39] What was the ‘ask before’ thing I did? I did this without asking because we don’t want to get distracted. Now what is he doing? He will go, take a screenshot of my profile, and try to understand what it is and what it isn’t. He’s now going and searching for ‘post and social lab’ here. That AI agent startup MVP, now I don’t know how he figured out that I’m interested in this thing.

[00:36:39-00:36:58] Of course, he must have calculated it after seeing my profile. And then he went and took out that post. Now, after taking out that post, he started searching for those posts, and after going there, he will now engage, comment, and like. He will keep doing that, and he will keep telling me that I am doing this. Here on the right side, I have the complete activity.

[00:36:58-00:37:09] He is doing it for me, they are telling me. And you imagine that if I tell him, man, give me prospects according to my niche.

[00:37:09-00:37:25] Rather, I will even show you by experimenting if you want. Yes. Take it out and what do you do to them is that you have to engage them. And I say, opening my inbox, I tell him, man, go to the inbox, engage all my conversations that are there till now. Of course I have to.

[00:37:25-00:37:39] You have to do your prompts and your instructions in that way. You don’t need a linked helper, nor do you need any automation tool, and it’s within Chrome, it’s not making any API calls, there’s no automation of any kind applied.

[00:37:39-00:37:51] But what is it doing that, you know, now he asked, should I like all five? Yes and comment as well. Okay, I said, like it and comment as well. Now what will it do? It will start performing the activity.

[00:37:51-00:38:01] Similarly on the other side, they are telling me that your overall score is this much, establish a professional brand. Then this is coming, this is coming, this is coming, and then he further told me something.

[00:38:01-00:38:20] He also said that you would want to do this, that you would want to do this, you would want to do this, I tell him, yes, do this. For the time being, because we are sitting in a recording, sitting live, so I will not read in so much detail what this is. Please go ahead. So what will this do, it will show you by doing this that okay, I will start doing this. So, the point is to do this, that you.

[00:38:20-00:38:37] Primarily, you don’t need any kind of automation, you don’t need any kind of tool. You simply install your plot extension inside Chrome. I have taken the 20 plan, you can do it.

[00:38:37-00:38:54] He is looking at my profile, okay, what can I improve on the profile. He is reading the profile, looking at each and every thing. Okay, and in the end of the day, probably he will give me some suggestions too. If he can do something. So what is the point of talking is that the profile that you have, it is an expert.

[00:38:54-00:39:07] There is Babaji, Lord Chrome Extension, you can get a review done by them. You can tell them the work, brother, here, improve my activity performance. Before this, meaning if I summarize the entire conversation till now, till now we have understood SSI.

[00:39:07-00:39:30] Within LinkedIn, the sales social selling index is part of your profile. LinkedIn itself is telling you on what four factors it is based. You have to look at those four factors and calculate the SSI of your every profile and try to improve it. To improve it, you can do manual activities, which is a very good thing, if you can’t do that, then you can do it by using the Chrome extension. Secondly, until your profile score is below 60.

[00:39:30-00:39:41] Don’t perform any sales activity. You primarily perform those same four activities. Search for people, go and post your post in your niche to relevant people, engage on people’s posts.

[00:39:41-00:40:00] Comment, like, repost if you can. Try to establish connections without any selling intentions. When you reach 60, reach above 60, then of course you can run campaigns, you can run outreach. Below that, your profile has a very high chance of being suspended. Okay, and this.

[00:40:00-00:40:19] Yes, yes, then I’ll ask the question. LinkedIn kicks in its security algorithm at two stages. Number one, when you are logging in, whenever you log in, it will see where the profile was logged in before, on which IP address, in which browser it was logged in, what all had happened, and what you are doing now. If it feels that there is a lot of difference, some.

[00:40:19-00:40:31] So this can be one of the flags that they will do to it, or if you have done multiple logins frequently, then also this can be a flag. So one is that security flag. Secondly, if you

[00:40:31-00:40:46] You are doing outreach, trying to perform a lot of activity on LinkedIn on a day-to-day basis, then your SSI gets engaged there. So, the SSI gets engaged on the second number activity. The SSI does not get engaged in the first activity. It is purely on security-related or login-related activities.

[00:40:46-00:40:58] Nice, nice. So Furqan bhai, in this, now if the infrastructure has to be built, for instance, let’s take a case that I now here 15, I let’s say 50 accounts I have to establish now, okay, I say.

[00:40:58-00:41:12] I understand about my account, I have to establish 50 accounts. Now, how many accounts should I give to one person to manage, and on top of that, how do I measure them to see if that person is doing the work correctly or not? What are the factors and KPIs that you look at?

[00:41:12-00:41:25] Saad bhai, two things can happen in two ways, this work depends. I’ll tell you both ways. It depends on whether some people can do both, or if they want to do one, they can do one. The easy and relatively straightforward way is that.

[00:41:25-00:41:48] You should go on an outcome basis. Like I just gave you the SSI, if a profile’s SSI is below 60, then I have given one person, I have given five profiles. I think that one person, five LinkedIn profiles, even up to six people go who are a little smart, and a little bit average people, they, average in terms of sense of business development activities or skills, they stay at four as well. Four, five, six depends on your resources.

[00:41:48-00:42:03] We assign based on capacity. I understand the standard to be between 4 and 6. Now, one thing is that I should go outcome-based, like, you have, well, what happens in this is that weekly we keep a sync-up on Friday or Monday in which we look at the SSI of every person’s LinkedIn profile.

[00:42:03-00:42:12] The SSI should remain the same or improve, it shouldn’t fall, okay? If it’s below 60, then improving is important because we have been improving our career SSI. If it’s below 60.

[00:42:12-00:42:29] If it’s up, then it will sustain, it won’t drop down. It won’t drop in a single instance when you, with those four activities that we just saw, that person will be performing right. If it’s falling, that means it’s a concern. That’s one KPI. Weekly, in a meeting, you can have everyone’s profiles opened up and take them out and see.

[00:42:29-00:42:54] There is no problem, you get it quickly. Secondly, if it is above 60, then you have to run a campaign, if it is below 60 then you don’t have to run a campaign at all. So if you are doing above 60, then my simple formula is how many number of meetings you have scheduled. According to me, if a person has 5 profiles, then on average he should get 5 meetings. At the starting point, if he is starting his career, then 2 meetings.

[00:42:54-00:42:59] are, if it goes a little further, then there are three or four. So if a person is at the peak, then he

[00:42:59-00:43:15] Up to 5 meetings, for a peak person, we expect up to 5 meetings. Again, it depends, it depends on how fresh your profiles are, how fresh the person is. If you pick up an intern from the university and give them a fresh profile, then you probably shouldn’t expect results for 3-4 months, and.

[00:43:15-00:43:26] There’s no need to harbor this misunderstanding that we’ll produce results from day one. Your profile will have a certain level, the resource will have a certain level, and then you can combine both things to produce results. Okay.

[00:43:26-00:43:43] So, one way is that you become outcome-focused. Okay. That you had to extract this much lease, you extracted this much or not, your SSI should have remained this much, it should have improved this much, whether it happened or not, these are two attributes. If the person is meeting the full criteria on this, then it’s okay, if he is not meeting it, then you will give him a warning and then see whether to bring his replacement or not.

[00:43:43-00:43:55] The second method, which is the second way, is what runs inside call centers, and I usually quote the call center because every call is recorded in the call center, and there is a quality assurance department that.

[00:43:55-00:44:05] He is listening to most of the calls, he is measuring the effort of listening to all the calls. Exactly, he is measuring the effort. So for that, at one point I hired two people.

[00:44:05-00:44:20] Those whose job was QA, I logged them into LinkedIn profiles. They had to come for four days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. They had to come early in the morning because our business development team comes at 3:00 PM. They had to start their day in the morning on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

[00:44:20-00:44:31] And on Monday also at 6:00 AM. From 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, they, because when the LinkedIn team came at 3:00 PM, then you cannot let them use it. Of course, you.

[00:44:31-00:44:48] Only one person will use the profile, will the QA person do it or the BD person do it? Both will do it, so there was a separate login on the IP, that it used to happen in the same IP in different machines. It’s the same IP, both profiles are logged in within the same IP because both are connected to the office network, the office network. And have you given each of these profiles a separate IP?

[00:44:48-00:45:00] Okay, a lot of people are asking me about this IP thing, that everyone should create IP pools, do IPs. I have kept only one IP address for the office and all the profiles are logged in on the same IP address. IP address.

[00:45:00-00:45:39] There is a matrix, but it’s a very weak matrix, which I mentioned in the previous conversation, that the first important security check-in happens at the time of login. So, the IP address is only being checked at that time to see what this IP address is doing, what it’s not doing, whether any brute force is coming from this IP address, etc. And when you logged in with 50 profiles from your IP address, 40 of them got suspended, all 40 had identity submission and real identity submission, and out of those 40, LinkedIn unsuspended and unbanned 30 profiles. So now LinkedIn is also understanding that this could be a co-working space, an office, or something.

[00:45:39-00:46:00] There could be a place where multiple high-rise buildings can be on top of one IP address, whose network is shared. So there can be something, so with this IP address, VPNs, and many people are saying that, uh, my profile is from the US or a US address is attached, so I should use a US VPN. You make it more dangerous if you are residential.

[00:46:00-00:46:15] You can get a VPN with a guaranteed residential IP address, so yes, then I would recommend it. But there is a guaranteed VPN called GoLogin, but whoever has used GoLogin knows how much of a pain it is to use. GoLogin is.

[00:46:15-00:46:30] Otherwise, I didn’t find any such residential IP address that is stable because if, for example, one of your requests is going from a US IP address and in the next request that VPN disconnects and it goes from local, then LinkedIn will say, brother, what are you doing?

[00:46:30-00:46:36] Okay, does it make a difference if your LinkedIn is from outside or from here, or if you change your location?

[00:46:36-00:46:51] Does it make any difference? See, personally, there is no difference for LinkedIn that if you have often heard people saying that I told so-and-so, my friend, who is sitting in the US, sitting in the US, he created my LinkedIn and gave it to me, and requests will come very well on it.

[00:46:51-00:47:09] It doesn’t happen like that. Sending a request and getting it accepted purely depends on the outlook of your profile. I always say try to understand human psychology. I am a CEO, you will send me a request, I will accept your request because your LinkedIn was created, it was created in the US.

[00:47:09-00:47:29] Does not matter. If you are a valuable person to me, then I will accept your connection request. So the profile can be created from anywhere. Your address, your current location matters. If your current location is in the US, or for example, if my current location is coming from India, Kolkata, then I know, man, what do I have to do with India. Because we are with India then.

[00:47:29-00:47:41] They can’t even trade, it’s banned from both sides. So I won’t accept that. Okay, if it comes from Bangladesh, then I’ll think the same thing, man, what can I do with it? I can’t do anything. But if the same person sits in Lahore and tells me.

[00:47:41-00:47:57] connected, whether it’s the CEO of a tech company, I’ll feel like, man, if not today, then tomorrow I’ll have some connection with them at some event, somewhere. So I would relatively feel comfortable accepting their connection request. Does that mean we should then create a US location, etc.?

[00:47:57-00:48:12] Uh, preferably the LinkedIn profiles should be in a US location, or that country, that city should be there. I said this in the last conversation that if, for example, you put your profiles in different different cities and different different niches, for example, I.

[00:48:12-00:48:31] I am offering technology services. So, I will have five profiles in healthcare, five in fintech, five in edtech, and five in travel and tourism. Similarly, there will be a set of five each, which will be in one industry. Now, among these five profiles, one profile will be based in New York, one in Boston, one in Austin, and one in San Francisco. And

[00:48:31-00:48:42] Now, the San Francisco profile that I have, I will try to keep its audience specific to San Francisco, San Jose, LA, California.

[00:48:42-00:48:54] Because it’s the same thing, the near-shore thing, that people, you know, like to connect with people within the near neighborhood, and they feel like maybe I’ve met them somewhere or will meet them at some event, so it’s better that I connect with them.

[00:48:54-00:49:04] Okay, one more interesting situation in this would be, putting in a US address doesn’t at all mean that you should go towards residential IP, VPN, and proxies.

[00:49:04-00:49:18] Please, if your profiles are getting blocked for some reason, then it’s highly likely due to IP addresses, or it’s not happening due to location. The reasons for this could be different. And if it is happening, then you should submit identity verification.

[00:49:18-00:49:38] Your profile will be unblocked, and if it’s not, then you can create a new one. Create the next one, create the next one, so there’s no problem with that. But because of IP addresses, I think there are very, very rare chances that they happen. I will ask you some questions in between because the public that wants to bother you later, I’ll get them out now. Everyone is watching.

[00:49:38-00:49:57] People say that you need a passport, that one, it happens with that, there’s no such thing. Okay, mine has happened, I don’t know why it happened, mine is verified and I haven’t used that passport chip one. No, no, you don’t need any passport, US one, nor can you use Pakistan’s driving license, Pakistan’s CNIC, CN passport.

[00:49:57-00:50:00] You can do a LinkedIn with a US address.

[00:50:00-00:50:17] This situation developed 5 years ago, it happened 2 years ago as well, and it has happened again now. This situation has developed with me 3 times, I’ll share it. It’s possible it happened with someone else too, and they might have gotten upset. Our US address linear profile was suspended. We submitted the identity verification for Pakistan.

[00:50:17-00:50:29] And on that, LinkedIn unbanned my profile, but LinkedIn also gave us this warning in the same email that you are misrepresenting your location.

[00:50:29-00:51:02] The profile has been suspended. You are misrepresenting the location, fix it, correct it to your actual location. Then what did we do? We set its temporary location to Lahore, Pakistan for three months, and after three months, we updated it again to that location. Okay, now what’s in it is that along with that, we didn’t leave the person who helped us in the support unattended, we replied to him that I had gone to visit the US, so I had put the US location then, now I have come back to Pakistan, so I updated it to Pakistan at your request.

[00:51:02-00:51:18] Okay, so now this means that whenever a professor gets suspended again, or a sport agent pulls out an old chat and reads it, thinking, ‘Oh, he was warned before too.’ Then he will understand that this guy might still be visiting the US. So you should at least get it recorded, maybe he.

[00:51:18-00:51:40] The matter might not go in the direction it should, of course. So you won’t leave it unattended. So this situation has developed with us three times in the entire five years where they have told us about location misrepresentation. The profiles that were not suspended, the reason for the location might be because they don’t disclose it. They just say it and give a link in which 500 terms and conditions are written, which terms and conditions are yours.

[00:51:40-00:51:44] I have figured out a way for this, if you.

[00:51:44-00:52:11] If you can do that, it’s a little costly. I had done this, that I had taken the paid team account of Salesforce, sorry, Sales Navigator itself. And I had taken three, four, five accounts in it. You can take two, take one, according to your capacity, you can take two or three accounts. And when you take this account, you get a representative allocated from LinkedIn itself. And he starts giving you insider information, he helps in getting your profile unsuspended.

[00:52:11-00:52:24] Maybe they can’t help because that department is separate for them. But they do tell you that your profile has been suspended because of this, this happened, Money Insider. You have to keep a little bit of it with them and they start explaining. Now LinkedIn.

[00:52:24-00:52:44] If someone considers themselves an Urdu speaker, I don’t know if they’ll realize it, but still, I have seen this dubbing happening on YouTube itself. I often say that we have to make money by doing this to white people, so a white friend of mine messaged me and said, “Sir, why are you keep calling white people?”

[00:52:44-00:52:57] I said, man, you are my friend, make it easy. Right. No, so in that, in that, it is that, joke on one side, but if you take it sitting in Pakistan, okay, one more thing.

[00:52:57-00:53:13] When you are taking a paid sales navigator, then take it by entering Pakistan’s address, you get it cheaper from Pakistan’s address, it is more expensive from the US address. If you have kept the profile address as US also, then temporarily make it Pakistan. When you do Pakistan, then either they will do it with the Singapore office.

[00:53:13-00:53:31] We will assign your account to an executive, or they will be assigned from India, Mumbai. Pray that you get an Indian person. Because Indians are, I have seen Indians are way more supportive than people from Singapore or Malaysia. So they are more supportive, and they will WhatsApp you.

[00:53:31-00:53:46] Then you connect to it, they will come on WhatsApp. Those from Singapore and Malaysia will not come on WhatsApp. They will try to keep it on emails only. So try to do this and then you will get it cheap, secondly you will get a representative who will keep giving you insider information. You can request him to expedite things a little, meaning profiles.

[00:53:46-00:53:58] If identity submission has been done and identity and LinkedIn are taking a lot of time, then it is costly. If you can do it, then do it, it’s nice to have, it’s like you get a little bit more access inside LinkedIn.

[00:53:58-00:54:08] Somehow, by building a relationship. No, in my opinion, if someone is running an agency business, a software agency, a tech agency, or a digital agency, they should do this, in my opinion, it’s in the thousands of dollars.

[00:54:08-00:54:21] It will cost $1000 annually for one account. If you don’t buy it, I’m telling you, don’t buy an iPhone, don’t take a trip to Baqu, take this. Okay. Yes, point. You got a very valid point. Okay, let’s go back.

[00:54:21-00:54:42] Keeping an eye and keeping a check that, brother, 60 people are seated. So in that, one thing we have outcome based, I am going outcome based because when I was tired of micro managing, I said let’s do outcome based. I will come to that too, I would like to go into a little detail inside it. The second thing is our quality assurance in which a person comes at 6:00 in the morning for 4 days.

[00:54:42-00:54:59] Saturday Sunday he sits until 6:00 PM. He validates every profile, and after doing that, how many messages went in each profile, how many connection requests went, whether the old connection requests that are three weeks old have been withdrawn or not. And while doing that, he creates his own graph, creates a chart inside which.

[00:54:59-00:55:18] He mentions the details of every profile. And then, on Monday, when the team comes at 3:00 PM, they are being posted in their respective Slack channels. And then, I sit with my respective BD head or manager and review them. And then, those who are consistently underperforming also receive warnings.

[00:55:18-00:55:36] Etc. etc. and then we move on to the rest of the performance management plan. Small agencies can do this QA work, there is a cost of an additional resource. You have to keep it on Saturday and Sunday, and give the rest of the days off. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, these three days majorly, you have to keep it and on Monday they should give the report. Hmm hmm hmm. Interesting.

[00:55:36-00:55:58] Okay, today, you know, one thing I keep telling everyone is that I enjoy talking to Furqan Bhai the most. The satisfaction I get from my framework is a big feeling. Otherwise, I have to get the framework out of the guest with great difficulty. And secondly, the LinkedIn statement that you have given to everyone today, the power statement that you have given, I say that now.

[00:55:58-00:56:09] I don’t know, LinkedIn will become a stopover. LinkedIn has to bring the office to Pakistan, saying, ‘Brother, they need this, they need that.’ Either bring the office, or they will blacklist Pakistan anyway, saying it’s not going to Pakistan. It’s not going here. PayPal bill.

[00:56:09-00:56:19] PayPal is not there before, and LinkedIn also picks up everything of its own. Okay, now a question is coming to my mind. Tell me this from an agency point of view.

[00:56:19-00:56:45] Yes, yes. A person is starting a software agency, a tech agency, or a digital automation agency, and I believe that this B2B, I also tell everyone this, this platform, especially LinkedIn, is designed on this thing that you have to do sales here. Just its navigation and its compliance, you have to understand that. And going forward, I will now have a very important discussion with you that will be around the personal branding on this B2B platform and content curation, we will come to that as well. Okay, before that, tell me this.

[00:56:45-00:57:02] When you started your agency, started your software company, what was the role of LinkedIn at that time, what is the role today, and how much role do you see it in the future in terms of revenue, sales, and lead generation, etc. Okay, 5 years ago, 6 years ago, in 2020 when I started Invozone.

[00:57:02-00:57:10] So our number one platform was Upwork and number two platform was emails. Okay. And

[00:57:10-00:57:30] Going to number three, we used to use a very tired tool of Snow Bio, even today it is quite behind. But because it was cheap, I used to buy it on Black Friday. I used to get the annual plan of 4000 for $2000, so I would buy it and it would last the whole year. Extract as much data as you want from it, the 50000 one, and send as many emails as you want.

[00:57:30-00:57:46] But later I felt that maybe that tool itself got damaged later, but even with that tool, we used to produce results. LinkedIn was not that performant at that time. Maybe that kind of acceptance hadn’t come, or maybe we.

[00:57:46-00:57:53] I or my team didn’t have an idea. So, with the passage of time, by experimenting, we got an idea that, okay.

[00:57:53-00:58:15] The first question was this. Now, I’ll tell you an interesting story. A BD guy came to me and said, “Man, out of my five profiles, these two profiles aren’t working.” I said, “Not working?” He said, “It’s not the tire, the tire is punctured, the fuel is finished. Tell me the definition of ‘not working.’ What’s behind ‘not working’ in your mind?” He said, “Not working means that connections are not being accepted, meetings are not happening.”

[00:58:15-00:58:31] So maybe these profiles are just bad. I said, man, that’s not how it works. What does a bad profile mean? I mean, that’s not how it works. Then I sat down and explained to him exactly why anyone would accept a connection from your profile. The day you figure out the answer to why and fix it in your profile.

[00:58:31-00:58:49] This problem is solved. Now the next challenge is that meetings are not happening, connections are starting to get accepted, but meetings are not happening. So, we have already discussed that behind meetings not happening, either you are not targeting the right ICP, not writing the right templates, not reaching out in the right way, and if you fix this, your meetings will start happening. So, LinkedIn.

[00:58:49-00:59:03] It took time to understand, and all these things that I am talking about, like at what time the security kicks in, where all it happens, the SSI’s social selling score, this is not a publicly available link that I have shown you. Now think about what all must have been done to reach this.

[00:59:03-00:59:33] I I I saw this for the first time. I saw it for the first time. And I I was sitting and watching for a minute or two that, I mean, this is something, although I am an avid reader and I watch podcasts, I don’t leave any course, any school community. This thing never passed by my eyes. It didn’t pass. Yes. So now the whole public of Pakistan has come to know that, man, you have to watch from here, like there are GSS on Upper, right, Job Success Score. This is Upper’s, this is LinkedIn’s Job Success Score. You have done that thing of it, I.

[00:59:33-00:59:53] I learned that by doing it. Okay, to answer to your question in a brief, that 5 years ago LinkedIn probably didn’t exist, that’s why not much business was coming out of here. After 6 months, my team had closed a product of $2000 and were very happy, man, after 6 months we closed a product from LinkedIn. And now every month something or the other is being closed, Alhamdulillah. Well, there is volume too.

[00:59:53-01:00:00] Volume beats anything else. That’s right, this is also there. Now you have, you told last time, some 150.

[01:00:00-01:00:13] I don’t know, there are so many accounts. There are around 150 LinkedIn accounts right now. They keep fluctuating, they keep getting suspended, around 150. But even now, if I count, a major chunk of Invozone’s lead generation is coming from LinkedIn itself.

[01:00:13-01:00:28] Major lead generation is in LinkedIn. So, I think this is a very big opportunity for everyone that LinkedIn warriors should come and just dominate on LinkedIn now. And let me tell you that I have noticed one thing that if you know how to do social outreach, social.

[01:00:28-01:00:37] If you know how to do outreach through email, and you bring the next person on a call, diagnose their problem, and we follow the NEP model a lot in sales.

[01:00:37-01:00:51] So if you get these three or four elements that I have to bring a lead, obviously extract its connection, talk to it, then when you go to actual conferences in the future, then you are ready there. There you know how, otherwise you must have seen.

[01:00:51-01:01:10] I had gone there to a conference in Miami. So, a guy from the Philippines had come there in the same way. So, when he came, he was the first time he had come, so he was nervous, so I had made him small along with me. Bring coffee, he was calling me guru, guru, so I kept him. So, when he came, I said, let me introduce you.

[01:01:10-01:01:14] So I told him, I said he’s Cody, he’s from Philippines, you know, Manila.

[01:01:14-01:01:33] Now I told him, so he says hi. Saying hi, he became silent. I am telling him, now I spoke to the white guy in front of him, I said say something, introduce yourself. So he also came and was saying, yeah man, I want to listen more about you. So it is that you have seen this here in Pakistan too, and the same thing that you and I talk about, that people message on Instagram, brother, let all these people listen too, that when you people.

[01:01:33-01:01:45] On Instagram and social media, they send a message, right, ‘Assalam-o-Alaikum Furqan bhai’ or ‘Saad bhai’. After that, I don’t feel like replying. You write three or four lines, write to the point, in fact, you should try to write a.

[01:01:45-01:02:00] Write in a concise message, Assalam-o-Alaikum Furqan bhai, this is my issue, that’s how I find you and that’s why I need information whenever you get time. Misad bhai, I say don’t even message, I say man, leave the voice note. I’ll tell you the primary reason.

[01:02:00-01:02:11] I am in the washroom, I am driving, I am using Sota, for example, I have done some Me Time, I will listen to the voice note, I will reply. In reading, in reading.

[01:02:11-01:02:30] I don’t know. In my group, there’s a question of about 10,000 words, you know, a question of 10,000 words. I’m saying, what do you want to say? That moment happens. The solution to that is to ask Claude, man, make it a one-liner. No, I’ve already figured out the solution.

[01:02:30-01:02:48] Yes. I understood this audience, so you know what I do? I know that the last three or four lines are where the question is. Let’s move on to the next question. This is within sales itself, now we have talked about closing and conversion, we have talked extensively about LinkedIn outreach.

[01:02:48-01:02:58] LinkedIn might have come up more, but the thing is that now we have a third subcategory, within which there are questions on business model and niche positioning, on which four or five people have asked this.

[01:02:58-01:03:15] that post AI staff augmentation and the generic sell my skill thing, how viable is it? This is especially for tech and software agencies. And or niche down into one painful problem with a clear offer. So how are you seeing this thing now?

[01:03:15-01:03:26] I will first talk about the clear offer and one pain point. One pain point and clear offer is that I promoted it a lot sitting in front of a friend. He was at the verge of

[01:03:26-01:03:37] Pivoting into something. He’s in a business model that’s not working, and he wants to pivot, like, I want to do something. He came to me, we sat down, had a beautiful coffee.

[01:03:37-01:03:54] I told him, man, grab a niche. Okay, he had done a lot of work in healthcare. I said, man, grab the healthcare niche and double down your efforts within it. Make it 5x, make it 10x. So, he then beautifully described his fear to me, which is in the hearts of 99% of people, it was in my heart too when I was standing there. He said, if.

[01:03:54-01:04:08] Two years later, as if everything was finished by the AI, after two years there was no work in this niche. Again, there are many uncertainties that we have seen in life so far. In Corona, Corona was itself an uncertainty.

[01:04:08-01:04:20] No one could imagine that the travel industry would ever shut down, and it did. So, similarly, I never thought that a software engineer’s job would also be gone. We used to be like kings, so that too is gone. So he said, man.

[01:04:20-01:04:37] Something like that can happen, so why should I stick myself to one niche? Why not I grab three, four, five kind of services? One, it will be easier for me to catch a customer, the same thing we talk about, there are five niches, this is it, that is it, etcetera, etcetera. So, that’s one thing, so.

[01:04:37-01:04:49] I still understand that if you have already delivered something in a specific niche, then preferably you should go into one niche, or at most, if you do, go into two niches, one.

[01:04:49-01:05:21] Keep one as primary, keep one as secondary. Don’t spread it too thin. The challenge with that is that you don’t sound like a subject matter expert when you go. And if you have the capacity to defend three niches, four niches in a call as if you yourself created that language, programming language, that framework, then yes, then you should definitely expand. Preferably, you in one niche. Okay, now coming back to resource augmentation, I think that in 2026 and 2027, not that much business will come into it. In 2028, I will have quite a good business.

[01:05:21-01:05:39] I am doing or anticipating that resource augmentation will come back in 28. The reason for that is that right now if someone is understanding that the industry’s downtime right now is because of purely because of AI, then that is not the case. AI has been into the industry for since 2023.

[01:05:39-01:05:55] I’ve been in the industry for 3 years. 2023 was good, 2024 was bad, 2025 was good relatively, and 2026 is going very bad. So, the biggest impact on 2026 is war situations, financial uncertainty, and the matters of the US government.

[01:05:55-01:06:10] Those whom we cannot talk to openly, so all these things have added up along with AI, because of which that fear and uncertainty throughout the industry is pushing people a little bit not spending right now, not jumping into. Another thing that happened.

[01:06:10-01:06:47] Our Frontier Labs, OpenAI, Claude, Anthropic, tried to sell a persona, just to increase their value, which they also know is not possible. But they sold a persona for two years that you will eventually not need humans. And I haven’t seen a single organization yet where someone has picked up a single element, a single component, and replaced a human with AI and it’s running autonomously. It’s not running, it’s not like that, it can’t even happen. We can make smart machines, but to operate those machines, we still need experts.

[01:06:47-01:07:02] You can bring as much smartness as you want into it, you need experts. So going back to the original discussion, resource augmentation will remain at a relatively very lower level in 25 and 26, and 27. It will come back in 28, by then the uncertainties will also have cleared off. AI.

[01:07:02-01:07:19] You must have understood the maximum capacity and capabilities of the models, that they are up to this level. Now we need people like this, and people would have also adapted that okay, we need prompt engineering. Prompt engineering by the way is going to go away and the concept of looping is coming in the next few times. Looping are actually prompts but.

[01:07:19-01:07:31] You keep looping, keep looping, your model itself keeps looping. To that level until it produces your benchmark results. So, people are going on the concept of looping a little bit anyhow.

[01:07:31-01:07:48] We will also do it. So, if someone gets augmentation in 26-27, then by the grace of God, if they don’t get it, then don’t focus on it. Fixed price products are usually coming, and the easiest niche right now is to tap non-technical business, non-technical founder-led small and medium organizations.

[01:07:48-01:07:59] There, the business is lying there. One, because I talk about FOMO, the fear of missing out is within them that I am running a laundry shop, I am running a restaurant chain. I.

[01:07:59-01:08:40] AI knows that it has arrived, but I don’t understand where to apply it, how to apply it. So, on this, I am telling people that, brother, this one, again, we have already talked about it completely on LinkedIn, but this segment is not sitting on LinkedIn. Even if they have LinkedIn profiles, they don’t. This is the reason why my 53 up score, you know, behind that is the audience there. And now I will tell you, they are sitting on cold calling. Yes. Cold calling, and we catch them at conventions in the US. Exactly. Or conventions, yes. Physical meetups is the number one, in my opinion. If there is any category above number one, then that is the S category, right? S A B C D. Exactly, it’s S plus plus, physical meetups.

[01:08:40-01:08:45] But that is something to be understood. Cold, after hearing this.

[01:08:45-01:09:07] Please, if someone is listening and they want to do this, like, okay, we said they’re sitting here on cold calling, so they should go and create their own call center, hire three or four people. It won’t work like that. Or start applying for visas in delegation. No, no, it won’t work like that. First, you have to understand how this works. Yes, yes, true. No, this is very good because a lot of people, you know, at the start of the year when I did the podcast of TechCrunch, that.

[01:09:07-01:09:31] When I went to the conference and met you, at that time, I mentioned to you in the end that every person had used AI so much that there was a staffing company. They had written ‘Powered or Solutions Powered by AI.’ So I literally went to that person, that tech guy. Where is your AI? I said, where is your AI? She said, we use GPT to help you write your resume. I said, man, that’s just a bunch of nonsense.

[01:09:31-01:09:44] So I even did a segment in it, in my US travel trip video, that we will find a stall in which AI is not written. So we found a cafeteria. Everywhere else, AI was written by every person.

[01:09:44-01:10:00] So now, in the middle of the year, in the second quarter, the podcast I had with Ahmed Zubair, we had quite dark type discussions in it, that things will change, this will happen, it will be copied. Now I am seeing that the discussion is going a little to the other side because.

[01:10:00-01:10:17] Okay, it’s coming back. It’s coming back. I was also sitting in my company and watching that a lot is switching but it’s amplifying. Meaning that the person who was before, I had to keep three people, now I am getting one person to do the role of three or four. We are getting a good output. Right. It’s not happening that I will replace it myself.

[01:10:17-01:10:29] I would like to compliment you, sir. I interrupted because I didn’t want you to move on to the next question. We still come to the office at 9:00 AM, we come to the office at 9:00 AM, we come to the office at 6:00 PM.

[01:10:29-01:10:44] I’m going to give an example of how we used to go, that our working hours were the same before. Even before, I used to come to the office at 2:00 PM in the afternoon and go home at 2:00 AM in the morning because of the US time zone overlap. I’m sure you also had a similar situation. I’m still doing it the same way. My employees are also doing the same.

[01:10:44-01:10:52] Now every AI tool is claiming that we would buy back your time. We will make you efficient, save time.

[01:10:52-01:11:10] We will save energy. Where is that energy going after saving it? By saving that energy, is our family time not increasing? Either our family time is increasing, we are hanging out with friends, there is a cloud behind us, the product is automatically developing and being pushed, or lead generation is being done by sitting at the back end, nothing like that is happening.

[01:11:10-01:11:33] If earlier, what was expected of me was that I would create one PRD in a day, now what is expected of me is that I will create five. Earlier, what was expected of me was that I would develop and give a feature to the client in a week, now what is expected of me is that I will develop and give that feature in a day. So expectations have amplified, rather than us saying that AI has come and replaced humans. One more thing I will try to add to this.

[01:11:33-01:11:51] Many companies have done layoffs, of course, rightly so. It’s a compulsion for companies, with any employee, any founder, you know, it’s the saddest moment for any founder when they have to let go of a resource. Many companies have let go, but I see a lot of people, those jobs.

[01:11:51-01:12:09] are going. New companies are being hired, are doing, product-based companies are hiring, people from Pakistan. So it’s not like that the jobless people who are sitting in Pakistan or Lahore, their quantity is increasing, I haven’t seen that. I am very, as many people are being offboarded, I, our HR team contacts them, man, our.

[01:12:09-01:12:19] After a week or two, they are employed and say, “Man, we have a job, we are not looking for anything.” So, it means that they are employed, they are getting jobs, they are getting ahead. So, no one is jobless either.

[01:12:19-01:12:40] There is no unemployment either. Yes, the unemployed will definitely be those who perhaps couldn’t adapt, were left behind, and don’t want to do it, or if there are some other problems inside them, then it’s a different matter. Otherwise, people are not jobless even after being fired, and we are also as busy as we are. So AI has come and. Let me give you another insight, Furqan bhai, we used to send AI receptionists, we still send them.

[01:12:40-01:12:57] Our foot-in-the-door offer is usually this for local businesses. So, when we told them in the beginning, it was about last year, people used to say, no, no, no, no, I’ve been with Samantha for the last 9 years, she’s my member, how can I reply to her? I said, okay, we changed the pitch.

[01:12:57-01:13:12] We told him that, you know, that Samantha, the day it goes off, or voice mail replacement, we started saying that it will take AI. So they plugged in, then in 2026, and at the end of 25 and the start of 26, they say, ‘Fire Samantha, I don’t want her, I’m going like this.’

[01:13:12-01:13:30] Now we have come back to that point, they are saying we need Samantha too, but the calls that come in the evening, we want those to be picked up and followed up on. So it’s evolving and we have to adapt to that adjustment, what is called market correction, otherwise it creates a bit of a problem. No, very right.

[01:13:30-01:13:41] Okay, here Samantha, in a little time, Samantha also, like Samantha, many, many resources will have to integrate with those AI tools. Yes. Now the next step is that.

[01:13:41-01:14:07] True. Let’s move on to the next question. Yes, the next question that we have is within this sales itself, right now we have it in career pivot and the job to own agency question. Many people ask me that Saad bhai, I am in the software industry, people follow you and this is particularly for you that Saad, I want to launch a software agency, I want to launch a tech business, I want to launch my SaaS startup and I have been working for many years or it has been three years since I have been working.

[01:14:07-01:14:22] So tell me, which is the right time that at what time should I switch jobs? Should I start part-time, like working in Invozone in the morning and doing my startup or exactly like that in the evening? Or should I take the risk and leave it, or else I.

[01:14:22-01:14:40] Should I take some trainings, and in this, an added question which is an extension of this question, should I hire a sales person first or should I hire a developer and engineer first? How do we decide this preference, and what, and please tell me the green signal, Furqan bhai, that’s it.

[01:14:40-01:14:50] Okay, usually when students are graduating from university, they feel like they will either get a job or pursue further education, go outside of Pakistan, or I.

[01:14:50-01:15:05] I will start my own startup, two or three people have. So here, at that stage, a person becomes decisive, is taking a decision. So I say this to those kids who have just graduated from university, I am saying to them that at least do two jobs, at least for one year each.

[01:15:05-01:15:17] It would be good if it happens, but it would be even better if you can extend it by a year, and even better. One is in a startup. When you go into a startup, the startup will show you that hustle and grind that.

[01:15:17-01:15:36] A startup is going through, and when you go, you’ll realize that, man, when I have to do my startup, I’ll have to put in this level of effort. In a startup, there aren’t many boundaries, there aren’t processes, you get a lot of visibility, which department is doing what, how it’s doing it. You easily gather information. So, one is that you get the taste of a startup, you get the flavor.

[01:15:36-01:15:52] A lot of information gets gathered, and along with that, your relationships also develop a bit. And you have to do a job in an established grown-up company, and you have to do that because an established grown-up company will teach you the processes to bring them from a startup to this level.

[01:15:52-01:16:11] What did you have to do, and only then will you do it. You will learn this in your startup, but by experimenting a lot, seeing failures, and burning costs if you are fresh and starting. At least have these two jobs. If you have done these two jobs, then probably this is the right time where you can think that now you should go in this direction.

[01:16:11-01:16:27] If you ask me what skills should be there, then I think that being a founder, you should have only one good skill, the rest of the things are secondary and that is sales skills. If you go to any company, go to Saad bhai’s company, go to my company and come back.

[01:16:27-01:16:39] Do an internship, even if it’s for business development. I’ll do it unpaid, brother. I won’t pay. But on a funny side. So, but you at least do an internship, do it by spending your own money, but.

[01:16:39-01:16:55] There is no need to do any course for that for the time being. Maybe for upskilling, you don’t do a course for basic. Upskilling, coaching, you must take that maybe later in time where you have to do that advance. But starting point you go to any.

[01:16:55-01:17:08] Within an active running organization, within the business development team, do an internship, do it unpaid, take that bootstrap. From there, you can easily start your own business again.

[01:17:08-01:17:22] And what is your financial state like? It depends a lot on whether you want to take it in parallel, or whether you want to do it by leaving. If you can afford it, 3, 4, 5, 6, in fact, I think 6 months should be the minimum. 3, 4 months is too little. Minimum 6 months and.

[01:17:22-01:17:41] Ideally, you have a financial backup of one year. You can cover your family’s expenses, your own expenses, at the bare minimum because then you will bring your expenses down as well. If you are living with any luxuries in your life, then you will bring them to the bare minimum. So you will reduce your expenses, increase your mileage, and if you have that much saving, then what?

[01:17:41-01:17:59] So you leave it and start in parallel. If you don’t have savings, then you do that in the day, do this in the evening. If your job allows and you are justifying it with your job because being an employer, I would never want my employee to come to me exhausted in the morning.

[01:17:59-01:18:15] He spends the whole day sleeping and leaves in the evening just because he has to sit and do another freelancing on a freelance platform for 4 or 5 hours at night. On paper, we don’t allow it, but still, we know that people are doing it. We are not even stopping them as far as they are delivering what we want.

[01:18:15-01:18:31] As far as they are active, energetic during the daytime, they have come after completing their sleep, they don’t have any problems. If problems are coming, the person is sleeping, feeling lazy, you can tell by looking at someone’s eyes that, man, he hasn’t slept today or he is exhausted. So that means if you are able to justify your job.

[01:18:31-01:18:38] Do it in the evening. I know ma’am, I’m being a little ethical here, but no, no, I’ll give you a grinding answer to this.

[01:18:38-01:18:52] If an employee is working in a company’s agency and has signed a contract stating that they will not do freelancing in the evening, then firstly, they have become illegal if they are doing it, moonlighting, they have become illegal, doing a part-time job, they have become illegal.

[01:18:52-01:19:00] There are companies in our agency space, in the tech space, we leniently ignore it, thinking okay, it’s fine, it’s just an expense, but people.

[01:19:00-01:19:25] How do they misuse and abuse? They are loyal to their clients in the evening, and in the morning, they say that the company’s salary is kitchen income. So, we have a secure income from the kitchen. Whether we do something here or not, I am very against this thing, this concept. So, I say if you have to do, literally take a leap of faith, then resign, have courage, then take such steps and go and enter the market.

[01:19:25-01:19:35] Otherwise, generate so much value within the company that you get finance and things, and you also have growth. I always explain this to people.

[01:19:35-01:19:48] That if people come and ask me, Saad bhai, I have been working in the company for two years, I don’t understand anything, I am thinking of doing my own work. I say if you haven’t been able to add value in the company for two years, then I will write and sign for 1200, you can start your own company.

[01:19:48-01:20:00] You can’t do it. No, that’s right. If you do one job in another company, then you do one job. One room. Yes. Doing that one job or perfecting one thing.

[01:20:00-01:20:19] Working with them is a cup of tea. It’s very easy. And you got that job based on your past experience, skills, and education. And if you start your own company, then logically you have to look after 12 departments. I have 12 departments. Finance, sales, marketing. In marketing, there are two components, growth is separate, branding is separate. These are the stories when you.

[01:20:19-01:20:37] When you grow, you realize, man, marketing is not just one word, sales and marketing are not the same thing. So, well, there are four separate components ahead of that, so in this way, when you understand those things, when you create 12 departments, you are not able to do one job well or produce such amazing value in it. It should be like that.

[01:20:37-01:20:54] That your founder, your employer, looking at you, thinks, ‘Man, I shouldn’t even make this guy a partner.’ The day this thought comes into your employer’s heart, that’s the right time that you should create your own company. Yes, true, true, very right. You’ve given a very good framework.

[01:20:54-01:21:07] Okay, Khan bhai, the next, and last question from us within sales is to ask about the structure and process of sales, and to provide some guidance on that as well. I’ll give you a little explanation of what people want to ask you.

[01:21:07-01:21:19] They want to see that we set up an appointment through LinkedIn, email, or a cold call. Now, when we approach that person, it’s obvious that they go through a different personality, a representative of the company. It’s like that, right, that they all.

[01:21:19-01:21:40] representing a company. When those people come from there, how much role does a CEO have at a starting level in sales? How much role does an established agency level have in sales? Do you still take sales calls yourself today, or do you have a sales director today, under whom there are closers and appointment setters with them, how does that structure work? Please shed some light on that. Right.

[01:21:40-01:21:50] Whenever I go to buy something and the CEO is sitting in front of me to sell, then my mind, my mind will tell me that this company is small.

[01:21:50-01:22:02] Hmm, it’s an under-the-surface psychological impact. Whether you have to give the label of Director of Sales to your senior business development executive, who has good communication skills.

[01:22:02-01:22:25] You give it a label. Move it forward. He should go in the initial call, crack the conversation. You go after five, seven, ten minutes and by then he should have made your importance. Well, I have requested the CEO just to take this call with you, Saad bhai, because I have seen your profile and I believe that my CEO and you would enjoy the conversation. He is so into AI.

[01:22:25-01:22:42] Because you are also working in two I, so I have just requested my CEO to just take this call. Usually he does not take the calls, even if he goes to every call. This trick, Furqan bhai, I think everyone does it, it’s all the same thing inside. I have the exact same strategy with me too. When I go to my team, I enter.

[01:22:42-01:23:02] So I say I was busy, I was having another call, it got canceled, so I thought Raymond just asked me, and we have two like that, Chris and him, he regularly tells me that sir has come today, sir has come today, and those of ours, you know, they are very funny, then they tease you that boss has come, today it’s going to be over.

[01:23:02-01:23:18] And even if you don’t have to say a single word, they have to drive the entire conversation. And this actually makes the whole conversation the way, the way you, of course, well, Gora believes in these things. It’s not like we are using this trick, so they are not understanding this thing.

[01:23:18-01:23:32] or they are getting it and it’s not like that, they understand that what you are talking about is reality because for a white person, a lie doesn’t even exist. What you are talking about is the truth for them. So anyway, anyhow, going back to the original point, I now.

[01:23:32-01:23:46] It’s been about 2 or 3 years, I don’t go to calls. I don’t go. Only I go and meet physically. Whenever I have to meet someone. Now for example, if there is a very good lead going on and it is a pretty big lead, then I.

[01:23:46-01:24:02] I am planning to go and meet him. I haven’t taken a single meeting with him yet. But I am planning to go and meet him and so given that, you will have to keep at least one person in your team who can handle communication, give introductions, you go.

[01:24:02-01:24:12] Hmm, they’ll do all the technical handling, you do all the things. You say, right, I’m getting it weekly, right? I’m getting it weekly. Yes. Okay. So.

[01:24:12-01:24:28] The thing is that, yes, it’s not coming. So the thing is that you, okay, one more thing I always recommend. It also has a disadvantage that you should try that your sales people, especially the client communication people, they have to interface with the client.

[01:24:28-01:24:44] Give them elevated labels a little bit. For example, if there is a lead level person, then make him a manager. If there is a manager level person, then give him the head label. The disadvantage of this will be that he will actually start considering himself a head and start getting his value in the market, maybe that disadvantage usually happens, but.

[01:24:44-01:25:12] The benefit is that whenever he goes into a conversation with a client, he will feel valued, like, ‘Oh, I’m meeting a director-level person,’ or ‘I’m meeting a manager-level person.’ I’m not talking to a lead generator-level person. This is my formula, maybe I’m still unable to figure out this problem statement that I told you, that the problem statement is that these people start getting value by considering themselves as heads and managers. I haven’t found its solution yet, what its solution should be. I tried one solution.

[01:25:12-01:25:31] I have you muted in their label. I said, those people shouldn’t come and say that we should also be given that salary. Yes, but they also say, well, a little bit is managed within it, it is done. But primarily, what I did was, I, you know, of my sales team.

[01:25:31-01:25:49] BD and sales related words were removed from their designations. Their designations were kept in such a way that I won’t tell, they can figure it out by going on LinkedIn. But they kept such labels that were not sales BD but were very fancy types of labels. Now what happens with that is that your sales team goes out of the HR outreach of other companies.

[01:25:49-01:26:02] Those HR people will write this, right, sales, account executive, DD. So you apply this for them too. It’s okay to apply yourself, but that, you know, we know what we did. We also went through this problem.

[01:26:02-01:26:20] So eventually what happened was that I registered a new company in which our Philippines, Colombia, Global Force and Pakistani force, all of them are in it. And there are some people who don’t even know they are part of Hexaclex because our forefront company, you know, from where we are selling, which are our agencies.

[01:26:20-01:26:38] Their name and their registration in the US, Canada. They came to Canada from there, and from there we gave it to that company. They don’t even know, we have decentralized it so much that they don’t even know that, sir, this is someone like that. Let me tell you an interesting incident. There is an employee in my company, and one day he.

[01:26:38-01:26:53] I received a request saying, “I have been following you.” I said, “Man, this guy looks familiar.” I said, “I know him because I don’t even take interviews, I don’t do anything.” It’s totally a silo company, I have a partner in it who is a sales person, Inshallah. So that became a big successful formula for us.

[01:26:53-01:27:09] Okay, one downside to this is that the strength you can show your client under one umbrella, maybe there’s a solution for that too, it’s coming to my mind that you can then show it to a group of companies. But if you, for example, there are 500 people in Invozo.

[01:27:09-01:27:16] And I’ll divide it into two companies, 200 and 300 people, so that 500 one that is a flex is.

[01:27:16-01:27:33] This, this is useful for you, like on our LinkedIn, if someone does exactly this, they might get a head count of around 150. Actually, ours is between 225 and 250. So what it is, is that we have divided, our client doesn’t exist on LinkedIn, but in a particular niche like yours, in software.

[01:27:33-01:27:43] It’s very important to show that. Same for revenue numbers, if for example we have to display any revenue somewhere, submit it in an RFP etc., bank statement, then there also.

[01:27:43-01:27:56] Because now in many RFPs, they have started discouraging JVs. Earlier we used to say do JV, merge two companies, gather three, or create a consortium and do it, that doesn’t happen now. So okay, let’s move on to the next question anyway.

[01:27:56-01:28:09] Okay, now we have quite a few lead generation questions that you covered in quite a bit of detail last month. So there’s nothing like that in it. People had asked what the lead gen framework is, and if the response isn’t coming, you’ve explained that too.

[01:28:09-01:28:20] Within Health and Compliance, you’ve explained everything about the LinkedIn account, you’ve also explained the niche-specific playbook, and finding and qualifying ready buyers. Is there any such formula that.

[01:28:20-01:28:31] If you find someone like that, who just sits with money in their pocket and someone just says, ‘It was your weight,’ is there anyone like that? Saad bhai, it doesn’t happen like that. You are very lucky to have someone like that.

[01:28:31-01:28:48] That otherwise, one thing we haven’t talked about yet, let’s talk about that now. There’s a concept of buyer intent or signals, which almost all sales people know. You have to do the prospecting, or your team has to do the prospecting.

[01:28:48-01:29:04] Another resource also told me, a boy told me a very beautiful BD team model in which I know that there are many problems. Because I had tried it and after applying, I had closed that model. What he did was, he kept the data person separate. He said, this person.

[01:29:04-01:29:14] He will extract the data and give it to the entire LinkedIn team, meaning he will do the prospecting. Their job is just to do the outreach, send messages, post, and establish connections.

[01:29:14-01:29:33] So now what happened is that this data guy, now to prospect this guy, to filter, to enrich the data, sales sorry, to extract buyer intent, to collect signals, this is pro in it. This is guru because it is difficult to teach this thing to everyone. It can be taught to one person very easily.

[01:29:33-01:29:43] Or a person can be hired who is so skilled. So now, if this person opens one LinkedIn profile each, goes to that company, and after opening the company, he will see that, okay.

[01:29:43-01:30:00] The weakest buyer intent or the weakest signal is if a company has raised funds. We all, the first thing we ask someone, what is buyer intent in an interview, the first answer that comes is if a company has raised funds, then I will reach out to them, this is my signal. I say, brother,

[01:30:00-01:30:19] This is the signal that almost every person is using, meaning the startup has become over-saturated with fund raising. And now people are reaching them so much because you are not the only one keeping an eye on fund raising, there are other people too who are doing the same work in the entire India, Pakistan, Bangladesh industry.

[01:30:19-01:30:38] Okay, I recently did an experiment, rather than keeping this data person, I told the cloud extension to go to LinkedIn, find my prospects, and also tell me why you found them because I also need their buyer intent, I also need a signal. It gave me one, it gave me a prospect.

[01:30:38-01:30:49] He said that they have launched their product in another market, and there they definitely need more talent, more integration with platforms, and for these integrations, they need engineering capacity.

[01:30:49-01:31:06] It would be needed. So try it, we tried it, and it worked out. And really, they were new, where new, for example, they were sitting in the US, they had launched in Canada. In Canada, in their local market, they had different setups, different tools. They had to integrate them. They hired an engineer from ROR because they.

[01:31:06-01:31:17] They were running on old technology. So, hiring happened. Now, this is also a signal that if someone is expanding into another market, building a new office, or if someone’s jobs are open.

[01:31:17-01:31:36] etc. etc. and one more interesting factor is that you will see in the LinkedIn posts of any founder or Head of Engineering, Head of Strategy. That they have some pain point going on, I had a contact with a Malaysian company, they reached out to us through our website that, sir, we want to meet physically with you people, me and my BD head.

[01:31:36-01:31:52] I reached there. After reaching there, we stayed the night, and we had a meeting in the morning. When we were sitting in the taxi and going to their office, my BD head opened his LinkedIn profile. So, the founder had posted two months ago that.

[01:31:52-01:32:06] In that, there was some downtime for their product. In that downtime, he had scolded his dev team. Actually, he had posted and summarized his experience, saying, “You guys have had downtime before, and you still have it now, what?”

[01:32:06-01:32:19] He had asked if it is common practice that development teams don’t learn anything from their downtime. They keep making the same mistake every time, there is no documentation. So I went in front of him with the whole pitch on this pain point.

[01:32:19-01:32:41] ran. And he was sold. That day he didn’t know us, and before the meeting ended, he said that I would like to buy you a lunch tomorrow if you are staying here. And you know, Saad bhai, when a white man tells you that I would like to buy you a lunch, it’s over. Okay, now the next day we went, the next day he came after scrolling through my LinkedIn profile, he came after seeing our YouTube videos, as soon as he came.

[01:32:41-01:32:56] The first question we have is, man, InvoZone exhibits a lot at events. Do you think it’s beneficial because we’ve thought many times about taking our product and exhibiting it, and we, well, I’ll tell you the product name too, talk.2 T A W K dot 2.

[01:32:56-01:33:08] There is a chatbot. Before the arrival of these AI chatbots, half the world used this chatbot. Okay, I have used this. The parrot one. Yes, the parrot one, exactly the green parrot one. So, okay.

[01:33:08-01:33:23] I’m talking about the line of Talk to. So the founder is telling me that, sir, this is a 2-year-old game, and it has become a very strong partner for us, so even if someone wants to break it, they can’t, so that’s why I’ve taken the name too. So, as an example, their development center is in Malaysia. Okay.

[01:33:23-01:33:40] He himself is in Switzerland, brother, and he is here, and some of his partners are in Australia. So now what happened was that when we met him the next day, he said, “Yes, we want to take our product with us. You can see what level the product is.” He himself, you know, so I then told him about my.

[01:33:40-01:33:53] The point of talking is that he came after doing research, that I met a guy, he of course found out about me, read, understood and came, and after that he, so given that situation what happens is that you.

[01:33:53-01:34:08] You can sometimes extract a pain point from someone’s post. From their Facebook post, their Instagram story, from their LinkedIn reel, from any reshared content, you can extract it from anything. So, buyer intent is the most important signal or factor.

[01:34:08-01:34:22] which should be in your prospecting. I will go back to why data extraction is not separate from my work and why I discourage it. If the lead generators who are sitting with you, who have to do the outreach, are not able to do the outreach.

[01:34:22-01:34:49] So who will they blame first? The data. They will say, the data that was received, that’s wrong. The data is wrong. Exactly. So they will say the data is wrong, we contacted them, there was no response, this happened, that happened. So what happened is that the poor data guy will keep giving you explanations that I have put in all my effort, I have given the data with honesty, it has not come out from them, so what should I do? So that’s why I have put the responsibility of end-to-end on one person that you have to do the prospecting and you have to do all the work and I want the result from you. So

[01:34:49-01:34:59] Otherwise, so whatever people are thinking that this work should be structured in such a way that one person does it, hands it off and gives it to another, then in sales, making excuses and putting them on others.

[01:34:59-01:35:11] Shifting responsibility onto someone else is a very common practice, and then you can’t get results. The easy solution to this is, okay, I’ll add one more thing about buyer intent, a Chrome extension for a plot, Chrome extension is helping me a lot in it.

[01:35:11-01:35:24] If you want to use clay and other tools, that’s fine, otherwise the Cloud Chrome extension, you know. Interesting, Furqan bhai, a lot of people ask questions.

[01:35:24-01:35:45] Why are you giving so much knowledge? I mean, they ask me, right? So, I tell them a purpose, that when I started this in the beginning, I mistakenly thought it was free, so now I obviously can’t charge money, so I’m dedicated to giving it for free. But what is your intent? Why do you want to help these people so much, and what do you want them to gain from you?

[01:35:45-01:36:05] Dude, I think that when I see this, you have a very interesting answer, maybe you won’t buy and no one will buy. Now, if I have to hire a sales person in the US, where will I go, tell me? Which state will I go to, which city will I go to? Will I go to Utah? Utah is the exactly. Yes.

[01:36:05-01:36:22] Cheap and I’ll get what I want. I know, right? If I say where the healthcare industry will be, Boston. Boston. If I say New York, sorry, where will Fintech be? New York. Okay, now if you sit down and tell a guy in the US, man, you cheap.

[01:36:22-01:36:26] And sorry, let’s put the word ‘job chief’ on the side, sorry. Cost economic.

[01:36:26-01:36:46] Development. It has become a CP, right? We agree. No sir, no. I am, we are laborers, brother. I tell everyone we are laborers of the first world, we have to print money from here. No no sir, you should give yourself beautiful names. No no, that’s right, agree. Efficient, cost, economic talents are needed if you want. So you.

[01:36:46-01:36:50] Ask a white person where they will go, their first answer will be India.

[01:36:50-01:37:13] He will say India only, he will never say Pakistan, yes, rarely someone will say Pakistan. It happens, he will say India and Pakistan. Yes. Yes. I have seen 90% of people will take the name of India, they will not take the name of Pakistan or they will say India Pakistan if they are seeing that you are Pakistani, you are Indian, then maybe they will use that word India Pakistan, otherwise many of our clients are not understanding us as India behind the scene until we explicitly on their mind.

[01:37:13-01:37:26] They don’t anchor that we are Pakistani, we are not Indian Indians, and then they understand, yes, okay. Okay, given that the moment, the day sitting in the US, sitting in Europe, and sitting in the Gulf.

[01:37:26-01:37:37] The people who are sitting with money and want to outsource, the day this comes into their hearts and minds, if you need cost-effective talent, go to Pakistan.

[01:37:37-01:38:08] So how will that be built? I alone cannot develop this impression. If this impression has to be developed, then the entire industry across the board will come to a level of what is called an SLA, a service level agreement, on someone, then that impression can be developed. And when that impression is developed, I will also benefit from it, and others will also benefit. Whatever my sustenance is, Allah has written, I am bound to get it, even if you come and build a shop in my neighborhood. You go to Shalmi, you go to any market, you go in a line, even if you go to Emporium Mall, 15 brands are lined up, but the brand that has as much on the shop.

[01:38:08-01:38:21] It has to be, kind of, whatever sales they have to have, selling, buying, that much has to happen. So my livelihood is not going to decrease because of this. One thing that is going to happen because of this is that Pakistan will come into view when a lot of people.

[01:38:21-01:38:35] We will do outreach, many people will do good selling, many people will bring customers, so it will be easier for me to sell as a whole. This is absolutely right, and I agree with you. I mean, how can there be an abundance mindset, market creation?

[01:38:35-01:38:49] And the third most important thing is the national visibility of our talent. I went to TechCrunch, I’m a marketer, I have a little bit to do with digital and AI. I went to a highly tech conference with friends, your software industry people.

[01:38:49-01:39:08] So, after going there, I got 7 companies to lead while standing there. I said, what are you doing over there, come here, I’ll tell you. So they were surprised. Now, this agency space and all the content I’m creating, you come, the rest of the guests come, and you’re putting in the effort on your site. It really has a ripple effect that will be seen in Pakistan because.

[01:39:08-01:39:28] Now the content reaches, people search for the titles and stuff, and they reach, it reaches them that, man, here you only get free, that what I say, man, leave this freelancing, create a well-organized agency here or become a part of a job. Keep this freelancing as a startup launchpad and then get out of it.

[01:39:28-01:39:43] So, there are so many people in your software industry who started accounts from Upwork, hired 6-15 people, are making $30,000-40,000 monthly revenue, and say, “I am a freelancer, Saad bhai.” I say, “Man, where are you going as a freelancer?”

[01:39:43-01:40:00] I know who you are talking about. So I keep telling them, brother, don’t say it like that, it’s too much. They have received a freelancer award, I think from somewhere. That’s how it is. That’s how it is. So this is the thing that I am getting changed, and you are also doing great. It’s a great answer.

[01:40:00-01:40:15] Saad bhai, I think we should do one thing, let’s put the rest of the things on the next session. I have a meeting starting today. Okay. And that’s a client meeting. I think the session has already become quite long anyway. So let’s do one thing, let’s do one more meeting, one more skype after two or three weeks.

[01:40:15-01:40:25] Done. If you don’t mind, I don’t know, the pending questions that we have, within that, there are questions related to our growth and personal branding.

[01:40:25-01:40:40] What we keep doing, Major, you’ve covered it today anyway, LinkedIn and all of this you’ve covered inside it. Now, that’s just our personal branding and that’s a little bit related to growth. Or we can do one more thing, that we run another session, survey or form.

[01:40:40-01:40:57] Yes, when we have to do it, we will do it after one, two, two, three weeks. Yes, because there should be a little cool down period so that people get a chance to see, hear, and understand, and to experiment. Then they will have more questions from these things, so then if and I will plug in these questions in it too, these are not that many.

[01:40:57-01:41:13] So you, Furqan bhai, enjoy, you continue. I’ll do a little more from here and after that I’ll close the live, Inshallah, okay? Thank you so very much. Thank you so much Furqan bhai, take care of your time. Thank you.

[01:41:13-01:41:33] Yes, so you saw Furqan bhai, I mean, Masha Allah, he gave us a lot of time today and he gave us a lot of information and he provided us with things etc. at a very high level. Due to lack of time, we had to stop a little early. Our target was one hour and in my opinion, oh my god, we are still.

[01:41:33-01:41:44] We will go quite a bit higher related to time. Some people have asked questions here related to personal branding and these things. So those personal branding and related questions etc.

[01:41:44-01:41:57] We keep helping them out a lot, like just now Furqan bhai answered your questions related to ICP, from zero audience to no marketing background, how you have to launch the product, he has told you things about that as well.

[01:41:57-01:42:13] And I also explained about brand building, and I also explained about team operations. So, more or less, Furqan bhai has covered quite a few things for us today, but besides this, we will conduct another session in which we will further discuss these things, conduct a survey within 2-3 weeks, and we will do these things in it, Inshallah.

[01:42:13-01:42:32] If you are watching this far, thank you very much to all of you. Questions etc. are coming. Sorry, today we had to answer only those survey questions. So because of this, we were more head focused on that and we will do that. Mainly the things that Furqan bhai has told, I will summarize them that LinkedIn.

[01:42:32-01:42:53] Email, cold calling, now like on LinkedIn, Furqan bhai’s is 78, mine is 53, if you’re watching from the beginning, the SSI score, today I explored that thing for the first time because we never needed LinkedIn. You guys will still see my LinkedIn, it’s dead. Now, in the next two-three weeks, it will get activated. Why is it happening? Because I’ve started doing my personal branding with white people. With which white people? The agencies.

[01:42:53-01:43:14] I just want to show the businesses my establishment. My goal isn’t to generate business from there right now because our audience doesn’t even exist. Our ICP doesn’t exist. It exists on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram. It doesn’t even exist that much there. It only consumes it from there. End of the day, business call.

[01:43:14-01:43:23] The business is available. Okay? So you have to get your understanding, you have to understand your ICP. You have to understand its market, its channel, its distribution.

[01:43:23-01:43:38] And based on that, you have to decide which channel to go to. A lot of software tech IT that is, who work in B2B. So for you, LinkedIn is the number one channel. Now, this content marketing that I’m talking about here, that create content, create content, create content.

[01:43:38-01:43:46] I couldn’t take Furqan Bhai’s take on this, but then maybe sometime, Inshallah, we will. But I’ll tell you about it, man, without content, you.

[01:43:46-01:44:00] It’s a company of 300 people, a company of 500 people, a company of 1000 people, you don’t exist next year. I’m writing this to you, I’m shouting out loud on this thing that you don’t exist, you.

[01:44:00-01:44:18] They will be sitting on their knees next year, and you will be remembering these very lives of mine and these very words of mine. I won’t have any benefit in my life even if I walk twice if you don’t create content or don’t create it. The loss is yours, and the benefit is yours too. You are on a fragile ground at this time, this, you know, understand that it’s on top of an ice lake, and you have.

[01:44:18-01:44:24] To break and fall inside, God forbid such a situation should not happen, that’s why I am repeatedly telling you to create content. Okay.

[01:44:24-01:45:25] It took me a lot of time to explain to people what founder-led content is. The meaning of content, and the meaning of becoming a content creator and a business content creator, is not just that you are making dance videos and doing Shugal. I am also making this content. I don’t benefit from this content. This is a passion project running at my national level. But imagine that I build an audience of white people in the same way, and those white people become my fans, saying, “What a thing, what is this guy talking about?” From there, I pull out dollars from them. Sometimes I throw them in this funnel, sometimes I throw them in that funnel, sometimes I do this webinar, sometimes I play from here. Sometimes give this lead magnet. How will I get a lot of dollars? They are not coming here anyway, but I am explaining how you have to do it. Now, when I say a company of 500 people, a company of 1000 people, you see how much content Furkan bhai is making, right? You see, every person has a purpose behind it, they have a strategy. Furkan bhai is also making it for the same thing, that he is doing it for market awareness, he has a different purpose. My purpose is also the same, that I am engaged for the help and support of you people. I am engaged in community building. It’s something that is more for my own satisfaction than for you.

[01:45:25-01:45:33] I am not benefiting from money in this, but if I create content with money, I will benefit a lot from it. Okay, you can see a company of 1000 people, people their.

[01:45:33-01:45:54] CEOs these days, if you go and search for the CEOs of top companies, top tech companies, they are all creating content in some form or another. Some are aggressively doing podcasts, they are also doing, what’s it called, meetups. Some people have created their travel diaries, some people are showing their entire experience to their companies.

[01:45:54-01:46:08] Showing some of their daily routine, everybody is building their personal brand, so they position themselves as, sorry, so they position themselves as somebody, give me a minute, man.

[01:46:08-01:46:20] Yes. So they position themselves as somebody who can help them out in amplifying. After that, let’s talk about small companies, I’m talking about the founders of all the companies that you people are my audience.

[01:46:20-01:46:28] which is less than 83000, within 100000 dollars. The majority of you are within 50000. The ultra majority of you are 20000 and

[01:46:28-01:46:49] Many of you are within $10,000, okay? So, if you want to take yourselves from this level to that level, then work on your content, invest in content. Now, today, because there was a LinkedIn conversation with Furqan bhai, I mentioned Laura in Ahmed Zubair’s podcast on LinkedIn, and people said, ‘Laura Farooq, oh brother, you.’

[01:46:49-01:47:04] You are free in my eyes if you are not creating content. Laura is free or she is free, there was another boy, I do content for him. People say this is not right, this is right, this is not right, this is not right. Dude, show me your content. If you are creating content then you have the right to opineize. Otherwise, let it be.

[01:47:04-01:47:21] Just do it, don’t overthink, just start working on the content. Post long posts, post videos, go to LinkedIn Live. Try, make connections, Furqan bhai told you so many things today. I was also feeling ashamed that my LinkedIn doesn’t even exist. Well, we are not needed.

[01:47:21-01:47:37] And then I have people who do these things, so we don’t need it like that, but a lot of what I’ve brought for you people, I’ve brought it for that reason. You guys need it. You guys have to be on LinkedIn and stop sending connections to Pakistanis. Well, so many people are sending me connections.

[01:47:37-01:47:47] I don’t even look at LinkedIn. When my team was praising, sir came, I said, man, don’t add anyone. I don’t even use it. They came on Instagram, they came there, they came in the community, they came to school, now we have school.

[01:47:47-01:48:06] which is, they are launching from next week, meaning from the next week after it goes live, so they should join it, and from there you have come to the WhatsApp community, you should enjoy that thing from there. Anyway, today our Hustle Talk live has become quite long, thank you very much to Furqan bhai, he came, he took out so much time, he gave answers to the questions.

[01:48:06-01:48:23] And he also initiated this idea. I mean, we were having a little conversation, and he initiated it in that. So, he thanks for you guys. And the code crack formulas and frameworks that he has given you people, I feel very happy, it’s true, after talking with Furqan bhai, that it becomes a conversation of that level, at which level, you know.

[01:48:23-01:48:38] I feel satisfied that we came up with the right framework today, you understand? So you guys must have enjoyed it too. Thank you very much. Sorry to you guys that I couldn’t see as much today because we had all our pre-defined questions etc. with Furqan bhai, the rest is now.

[01:48:38-01:48:49] After this, we will go, Inshallah. We will have a little discussion in the community, go there and ask questions, join the Facebook group, and the school community is coming on Monday, coming on Monday or next week.

[01:48:49-01:49:05] And join it, and there I will bring a lot of challenges and a lot of things. I have also started facing some problems, people have started overburning my time and energy. So many DMs, 100 plus DMs a week on WhatsApp, 500 plus DMs on Facebook and Instagram are coming.

[01:49:05-01:49:20] I don’t understand how to answer. I keep trying, but still, as much as I can. And that communication thing today, how to ask a question, that is a very, very, very important thing. So, I hope if you’ve watched this far, you are a true hustler, enjoy.
